«The freedom to implement my own ideas»
Mr. Guidon, why did you move to Open Systems?
Open Systems offers me the possibility to tackle complex, security-relevant technical problems in a rapid and dynamic environment. Thanks to Open System's flat organizational structure, I can act out my entrepreneurial thinking and personal responsibility optimally. I find that the tremendous freedom to implement my own ideas is very motivating. Furthermore, there is a collegial, open and pleasant working atmosphere here.
You work in the consulting field. What does your job consist of precisely and how would you describe your normal day?
As a consultant, I primarily develop challenging solutions for small and medium sized companies, as well as large international groups and, together with the customer and a young, established team, implement them. In addition, my area of responsibility includes the servicing and development of existing and potential customers. My normal day centres around the current projects and needs of our existing and potential customers. Because of this, my job is extremely varied and multifunctional. I am on the road quite a lot, since discussions concerning global, or even local, plans frequently call for my presence on site.
What pleases you most about your job?
The constant challenge of getting my head around new customer projects, so as to work out optimum solution recommendations to satisfy the given requirements. And then, of course, to also present this solution in a structured and understandable way, and to realize it efficiently and professionally.
