Application Optimization – Compression Using Lossless Compression Protocol
Open Systems application optimization will compress data to be transferred by using a lossless compression protocol. Achieve up to 50% reduction in data volumes for many common uncompressed data types such as XML, Office documents, database queries, file transfers and many web applications.

Hi, I’m Thomas. Welcome to the lightboard session on application optimization.
Application optimization reduces the bandwidth needed in your network by applying compression. Whenever a file is fetched from a server, we apply lossless compression algorithms to reduce the file size, minimizing the amount of data that needs to be transferred across your network. On the remote edge device, we then undo the compression and deliver the original file to the client.
