Bernhard Ortner

Bernhard Ortner took over the position of Chief Financial Officer in 2023 after joining Open Systems Group as Director Global Finance & Accounting in 2021. 

Bernhard is a strong Finance professional and holds a Master in Business Administration from the Salzburg University of Applied Sciences with a semester abroad at the Lucerne University of Applied Sciences and Arts. After his studies, he gained 4 years of experience with KPMG as an auditor. 

Prior to joining Open Systems, Bernhard headed the Finance team of Rath Group, a listed Austrian refractory group for more than two years. Before that, he spent 7 years as Senior Manager Group Accounting & Treasury at Automic, a market leader in corporate software for business automation.
